Join us and explore creativity, community, and connection. Together, you’ll take on a creative, rainbow-themed food construction project and show off a sweet (or savory) little centerpiece…and then tear it down to snack on the ruins!

In this Food-Play Adventure, you’ll build a small edible parade float, rainbow, or another Pride-themed construction and decorate it creatively using colorful snacks, treats, and other fun foods. Scroll down to see what you’ll need!

We will send you an email with the ingredient list to confirm registration, and a second email with the full Adventure Guide and Google Meet link 1-2 days before the event date.

To build your rainbow creation with the group, you’ll need:

  • A Google Meet-capable computer and a solid Internet connection

  • All of the items on the Ingredient List included under “Icing”

  • One large mixing bowl, and an electric hand mixer (a whisk and arm endurance will do in a pinch)

  • Any Construction and Decoration foods that you’d like to include

Pro Tip: If a local snack shop, candy shop, or bulk section is accessible to you, browsing their selection to choose small quantities of different textures/colors/shapes is my personal favorite way to select edible decorations. You’ll need approximately 2-3 cups of decorating items for a single structure. Consider grabbing a bit extra—for snacking during construction!
