This virtual workshop supports participants in preparing larger, manageable quantities of food to share with friends, neighbors, and strangers in community-building efforts. We take care of us, and together we can make nourishment more accessible for those facing food insecurity, on the frontlines of liberatory work, and having a rough day/week/month/year. Food is for everyone.

NOTE: Cost is per link to join, you may have others present in your kitchen for no additional cost.

To cook along with the group, you'll need:

  • A video call-capable device and a solid Internet connection

  • Ingredients from the ingredient list

  • Equipment from the recommended equipment list

  • To-go containers - such as these, these, or these: - and a way to label them with the date and ingredients

Pro Tip: Purchasing new to-go containers sometimes requires them to be washed (or at least rinsed) before hand. You’ll want at least 8-10 containers ready to pack up the food we make during the workshop.
